These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sorceo, an AI-powered candidate screening and hiring assistance tool operated by SIA ECO SOULS, registration number 40203437942, with registered address at Lielā iela 232, Daugavpils, LV-5415, Latvia (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account or using Sorceo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Beta Service
Sorceo is currently offered as a beta (MVP) product. The service is under active development, may contain bugs, and may be incomplete, unstable, or change without notice. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time.
2. Free Access
During the beta, Sorceo is provided free of charge. There are no payments, subscriptions, or fees. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future, in which case any change will be communicated in advance and will not apply retroactively to the beta period.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use Sorceo. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that you do not have the legal right to process, including CVs, job descriptions, or other personal data shared without a lawful basis.
- Upload illegal content, malware, or content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.
- Use Sorceo to discriminate unlawfully against candidates on the basis of any protected characteristic.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Use the service to build or train a competing product.
5. Your Content and Responsibility for Candidate Data
You retain ownership of the content you upload (CVs, job descriptions, notes). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service to you (including transmitting it to AI sub-processors as described in our Privacy Policy).
When you upload a CV or any document containing personal data about a third party (e.g. a candidate), you confirm that you have a valid legal basis to do so under applicable data-protection law, and that you will inform candidates about your use of automated screening tools where required.
6. AI Output and Hiring Decisions
Sorceo uses third-party AI models to analyze CVs, score candidates, and draft outreach messages. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or biases. The output is provided as a decision-support tool only and must be reviewed by a qualified human before any action is taken.
You are solely responsible for any hiring, rejection, or outreach decision you make. We do not make hiring decisions and accept no liability for decisions made using the service.
7. “As Is” Disclaimer
Sorceo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or produce accurate results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIA ECO SOULS, its directors, employees, and sub-processors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or damages arising from hiring or rejection decisions made using the service. Our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service shall not exceed EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict, revoke, or terminate your access to Sorceo — for example, if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or if continued operation poses a legal, security, or operational risk. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion via support@sorceo.com.
10. Changes to the Service and Terms
The service may change at any time during the beta. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Sorceo after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Latvia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
